Since one of the prime objectives of the institute is to raise the educational standards of women in and around Porbandar, the college has an Open Admission Policy.

The Prospectus and application forms for admission will be on sale from the middle of May and are available from the college office.

Admissions to the college in different classes will commence immediately after the declaration of results of the related qualifying examination and shall remain open till a date fixed by the university. However, candidates are advised to secure their admissions as early as possible.
Eligibility for Admission : (Statute 150-A)
A Candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary (12th standard) School Certificate examination conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Examination Board or an Examination recognized equivalent there to shall be considered eligible for admission to:

First Year Degree Course under the Faculty of Arts or Faculty of Home Science.

First Year Degree Course under the Faculty of Commerce if she has passed the examination with elements of Accountancy or Business Mathematics or Statistics or Banking or Economics or subjects of vocational commerce stream.

Candidate for admission to the Bachelor of Computer Application must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from Gujarat Higher Secondary Board or any other board.

Candidate for admission to the Master of Science in Information Technology & Computer Application must have passed BCA, B.Sc(I.T), B.Sc(Comp. Sci), B.Com.(I.T), B.Sc.(Electronics), PGDCA.

Candidate for admission to the Master of Arts in English must have passed Bachelor degree in Arts in English.
Requirements for Admission

Applications in the prescribed format, should be duly filled in and completed in the candidate’s own hand writing either in Gujarati, Hindi or English.

Original 12th standard Mark-sheet and an attested copy of the school leaving certificate should be submitted with the duly filled - in application form.

Every Student would be interviewed at the time of admission.

Once admitted the fees would have to be deposited within the prescribed time limit, failing which the admission would automatically be cancelled.

Once the fees have been deposited the student would be required to submit two passport size photographs for getting an identity card.

Students are advised to submit only attested true copies of certificates except T.C. and Medical certificates, which should be in original.

All admissions will be provisional subject to the University’s final acceptance and approval.

The college reserves the right to reject any application for admission without assigning any reason whatsoever.
